Price Lists from suppliers can be imported into Buildlogic if they can be obtained in an .csv format.
The format required is as follows:
(ItemNumber>Category>SubCategory>DescriptionGeneral>Descriptionspecific>sell ex GST>UOM>ManufacturerName>ManufacturerPartReference>CostCode>ReferenceCode>Length>Width>Height>Conversion Unit)
Category and Sub Category provide you with the option to have different categories against items in your Price Lists.
For example, you may have a variety of Pumps so you may want set up a Category called Pumps. This allows you to just select Pumps when searching the Price Lists.
You may want to break the Pumps down into Sub Category so that you can refine your searches when using Price Lists.
Once you have formatted the Price List as shown in above you will then need to save this file.
Once you have saved your Price List in the .csv format and have your Supplier set up in Buildlogic.
Do the following to import the Price List.
1. Select System à Lists à Price List
2. Select “Import price items from csv from the Other Functions drop down list
3. Select Supplier
4. Select choose file
5. Select Buildlogic template (.csv)
6. Select Upload file
The price list can now be used when create purchase orders for the relevant supplier
