Open the desktop version of Buildlogic and go to your estimate list, highlight your estimate and click the save button from the menu at the bottom.
This will save an <estimateID>.est file in your backup directory. To find that location go to the file menu and global settings you will see the backup device pathway. A message will also pop up when you click save showing you the location.
Open the web version of Buildlogic and go to the imports menu and select the Import .est or .csv file menu item, see screenshot below.
This will open a window that allows you to import a file, select the choose file button and navigate to the backup location and select your .est file. Once you have selected the file it will be displayed next to the choose file button.
Then you can click the import option.
Your estimate will be displayed in the Estimate list which is accessed from the Imports menu
Once in the estimate list you can open the details of the trades by clicking the open button or edit the contract details but clicking the edit button. Make sure the contract breakdown and total contract price is correct.
A client and client ref will need to be set in the details of the estimate (by clicking the edit option) before the estimate can be converted to a job.
There are some compulsory fields in the site address. Once the information is all correct click on the create job button on the bottom left of the screen.
