1. Importing from Dindo - In this release we have a new import from an Estimating/Digital take off system called Dindo.   Below are the instructions need to activate and import.

Dindo Import Set up – Client Administrator function

  1. Go to System/Users and license
  2. Highlight the user and select edit
  3. Highlight the module – Estimating
  4. Under Functions – tick Import from Dindo and save
  5. Click F5 to refresh the menus at the top of screen
  6. Go into System/Settings – Others tab. There is a new area available to enter in the Dindo user name and password.

Dindo Importing an Estimate - Users

  1. Go to Import/Import from Dindo
  2. A list of jobs currently in Dindo is displayed
  3. Highlight the Estimate and select the Import button.

2. New Report/Changes to Forecast Screen - Forecast Movement Report - In this release there is a new report available under Reports/Create Reports - Forecasting & Management Reporting called Forecast movement report.  The movement column has been  added at the end of each row.


If you want to use this report then you must save copies of your forecast at a particular point of time.   For example in this forecast, a copy of the previous forecast was saved on 01-May-2021.    You can save your forecast as many times as you require.   This change to the forecast screen all you to select and view previous forecasts.    

To produce the new report go to Reports/Create Reports - Forecasting & Management Reporting and highlight the Forecast Movement Report.     Highlight the job you want and below the list of jobs, there filter available where you can select the From Date.     At this point you can pick a different From date but the To date is always going to be the current forecast.

3. Client Administrator Function - Turning Off Email Notification for Overspends on Contracts - The job owner, whenever a contract to a subbie is let for more than the budget that was picked up, the job owner receives an email informing them of this overspend.   Some clients have requested that the email for this function gets turned off.   This has been added in this release - go to System/Settings - Other tab and untick the box shown below.   Please note this is across the whole system and applies to all Job owners.


4.  Onedrive Issue - This release address an issue that was happening when using Onedrive to store documents and attachments over 5mb.   This error occurred when using email function from within Buildlogic to send documents and attachments.    This error has been resolved.
