When setting up cost & reference codes in Dindo you have two options, manual creation or importing from CSV.

When naming the code groups, cost codes must have the word 'cost' in the name and reference codes must have the name 'ref'

Manually creating codes

In the left hand menu – go to code list and make 2 groups – called - Cost code & Reference code

Build your Cost code and Reference codes by clicking 'Create new code' (Ctrl + A) above the table

Importing Codes from CSV

Codes must be in CSV format - Code/Description columns with no headings, Example:

Navigate to the "Code List" and select "Import code Group from CSV"

Select the CSV file and give the code group a name e.g. "Reference Codes"

For existing jobs, open the job and click the details tab, from here see code groups, click the pencil and add the code groups you wish to the job

Go into estimate trade details and enable the code columns like for templates above
