1.  Estimating - New field - A revision field has been added to Estimating detail tab.   If you want to pick this field up in your word templates, the new field name to be added is Revision.



2.  Estimating - Paste copied lines - If you copy a few lines prior to this release, when you pasted them, they pasted at the bottom of the estimate detail list and you had to move them to where you wanted them.   After you copy the lines, you can now select a row in the estimate detail and when you paste the lines, they will paste above that line.


3.  Estimating - Buildexact Import - Some clients are using Buildexact for Estimating/Take offs.    If you want to import directly, please contact support who will be able to give you the export format.


4.  Estimating - Options - When preparing a quote/proposal, sometimes you may want to add options in for a prospective client.   Options allows this to be done.     Your Buildlogic Client Administrator will need to go into System/Setting/Others tab and tick the box as shown below.  Once this box is ticket a new column is displayed in the Estimate Detail tab called Options.


There is a new option under Estimate dropdown where you can set up your options.  When you then use an option against an item in your budget, the cost/sell price of that option is not included in the overall calculation of the quote/proposal but is displayed as an option in a table that can be added to your quotation letter.   If you want to add this to your quote letter, please make a request to support@buildlogic.com.au and on of our consultants will contact you.    


NOTE:   It is important to edit your estimate to include any options prior to converting to a job.
