When creating Buildlogic contact cards for Xero - 

The card must be pulled in from Xero, to operate correctly for timesheets.


Once you're happy the employee is set up correctly in Xero

Navigate to Contacts > Import accounting system contacts at the top of the screen 

(If you've not run a sync since creating the employee in Xero please do so, otherwise it will not appear in the list)


When you find the employee in the import list, select them and hit the 'Import selected contacts' button at the top right of the screen. 


Find the contact you just imported in Contacts > List

If done correctly you should note that the Accounting system ref includes the users name and birth date, example:


In the details tab you can hit 'Add timesheet user' at the bottom of the screen


This button will automatically create a new user for you, assign that user a mobile application license and set the linked contact for that user as the contact card we just created. 

When the new user is created- Navigate to System > User & License and hit 'Edit' on the user that was just created

Here you can make any necessary changes and send the user an invite


Hitting the send invite button will send an email to the user containing their default password to log in
