Buildlogic has the ability to track check in and out, via a QR code, that anyone can scan on their mobile device.
Where to find the QR Code:
You can find the QR code in a couple of different places, outlined below:
(to produce the QR code you'll need someone who has a Buildlogic login, however anyone can check in or out without a Buildlogic account)
Firstly on the Buildlogic website - navigate to the job list, find the job that you want to check in to and hit edit to open the "edit Job" module.
The QR code will appear as a template at the bottom of this screen, hit one of the buttons to produce the document called Job Site Checkin. This will produce a document with the QR code that you can print or just scan from the screen.
Another place the QR code can be found is on the mobile application, the user will need access to the "Jobs" section of the app.
The mobile user should hit the "jobs" button on the main login screen
From here they can select a job and there will be an option for a "site check-in code"
Open this screen and you'll be presented with the QR code
How to access the QR Code Scanner:
Most mobile phones have a built in QR code scanner, some will allow you to open the camera app and take a photo, others require you use the QR scanner function.
The easiest way to access this is to swipe down twice from the top of the screen on your mobile,
You'll be presented with some options, one of which should be labelled QR scanner, you may need to page across.
Where to find the check in history:
After you have everything set up and people are checking in & out, you can find the history for this in a couple of places.
On the website in the edit job module, there is now a tab for each job that will display the check in history
It is labelled "Site Activity"
You can also check the history from the mobile application
This is again under the "Jobs" section, select a job and navigate to "Site Activity"
