Action Items List Screen

The Action Items List screen is used to manage and track all action items across one or multiple jobs.
It provides filtering, tracking, and workflow functionality for various request types such as variations, claims, purchase orders, and general requests.

Action items are submitted by the mobile app into this central area


Filters – Field Definitions

  • Job – Select a specific job to filter action items, or choose “All Jobs” to display across all projects.
  • Date Range (Show) – Predefined time period filter (e.g. Month, Quarter, Year).
  • Start Date – Beginning date for filtering action items.
  • End Date – End date for filtering action items.
  • Type– Filter action items by category:
    • CR – Change Request
    • CCR – Contractor Claim Request
    • EOTR – Extension of Time Request
    • GR – General Request
    • PCR – Progress Claim Request
    • POR – Purchase Order Request
    • VR – Variation Request
    • WI – Workplace Incident
    • Show All – Displays all action item types
  • Refresh – Reloads the list based on selected filters.
These filters allow users to quickly refine and locate relevant action items.



Toolbar Actions

  • New – Create a new action item for the selected job.
  • Edit – Open the selected action item for editing.
  • Delete – Remove the selected action item (with confirmation).
  • Export – Export action item data (Excel formats supported).
Toolbar actions enable users to manage and distribute action items efficiently.




Action Items Grid – Field Definitions

  • Created At– Date the action item was created.
  • Action Item Number – Unique identifier for the action item.
  • Action Item Type – Category of the action item (e.g. Variation, Claim, Request).
  • Title - Title assigned by user.
  • Description – Summary of the action item request.
  • Status – Current state (e.g. Open, Closed, Pending).
  • Priority - Priority assigned by user
  • Due Date - Due date assigned by user
  • Created By - Who created the action item on the mobile app
These fields provide complete visibility into action item status and ownership.




Tips

  • Use filters to narrow down large datasets
  • Ensure correct action item type is selected
  • Review linked items before deleting records
  • Use export for reporting and sharing data
  • Regularly refresh to ensure up-to-date information
