Estimate List
The Estimate List screen allows you to view, manage, and interact with all estimates in Buildlogic. From here, you can create new estimates, edit existing ones, export data, and generate jobs.
Key Features
Toolbar Actions
- New – Create a new estimate
- Edit – Modify a selected estimate
- Delete – Remove an estimate
- Refresh – Reload the estimate list
- Export – Export the estimate list in various formats
- Copy Estimate – Duplicate estimates with multiple options

Copy Options
- Copy with complete detail
- Copy without quantities
- Summarise by trade
- Summarise by trade and reference code
- Summarise by trade and cost code
- Summarise by trade, cost code, and reference code
Estimate List Columns
Note: Column order may vary depending on your configuration.
| Column | Description |
|---|---|
| Number | Unique identifier for the estimate. This will become the job number. |
| Description | Name or description of the estimate |
| Client | Associated client |
| Contact | Primary contact |
| Client Rep | Client representative |
| Start Date | Estimated project start date |
| Budget Total | Total estimated cost before markup |
| Markup | Markup percentage applied to the estimate |
| Contract Total | Total contract value including markup |
| Client Ref | Client reference information |
| Contract Type | Type of project (e.g. Lump Sum, Cost Plus) |
| Category | Estimate classification |
| Status | Current estimate status (e.g. New, Won) |
| Owner | User responsible for the estimate |
| Revision | Estimate revision number |
| Accounting System | Linked accounting system |
Filtering and Viewing
- Use "Show archived estimates" to include archived records
- Use the search box to search across columns
- Adjust page size and save your preference
- Use the column chooser to customise columns
- Adjust column widths and save your layout
Actions from a Selected Estimate
- Create a job from the selected estimate
- Create a job using gross values only
- Raise an RFI (Request for Information)
Tips
- Use the save button (top right) to remember your settings

- Use copy options to quickly create a new estimate from existing data
