Variations Register
The Variations Register provides a central view of all job variations, allowing users to create, edit, track, and manage changes to project scope and cost.
Variations typically represent changes to the original contract and can impact project value, timelines, and approvals.
Grid Overview
The register displays all variations in a structured grid format with key columns:
- Number – Variation reference (e.g. V001)
- Scope of Work – Description of the change
- Site Instruction – Site related instruction reference
- Amount Submitted – Value submitted for approval, captured when the variation is approved while waiting status.
If a user wants to reset the amount submitted value, they can change all lines to waiting (?) and save, this should reset the amount submitted check. - Amount Approved – Approved value captured when variation is approved

Totals are displayed at the bottom of the grid for submitted and approved values.
