Extensions (EOT) Register
The Extensions Register is used to manage Extensions of Time (EOT), allowing users to track delays, adjust completion dates, and maintain programme accuracy across projects.
The screen provides filtering, search, and grid-based management of all extensions linked to jobs.
Search & Filter Panel
The top section allows users to filter extension records before viewing results.
Job Selection
- Select a specific job
- Or choose All Jobs to view all extensions
Date Range
- Predefined ranges (Year, Month, Week, etc.)
- Financial year and previous period options
- Custom date selection
Start & End Dates
- Manual date selection using date pickers
- Automatically updated when selecting a predefined range
Clicking Search refreshes the results grid based on the selected criteria.

Extensions Grid
The grid displays all matching extension records.
- Extension number (EOT reference)
- Associated job
- Key dates and duration
- Status and progress
Data is dynamically loaded based on filter criteria, without requiring a full page refresh.

Toolbar Actions
New Extension
- Create a new extension of time
- Linked directly to the selected job
Edit Extension
- Open the selected extension record
- Navigate to the Extension Edit screen
- Includes extension number in context
Delete
- Remove selected extension (if permitted)
Export
- Export extension data to Excel formats (XLS/XLSX)

Navigation Behaviour
- Selecting a record and clicking Edit opens the Extension Edit screen
- Grid reloads dynamically when filtering or searching
This ensures a fast and seamless workflow when managing multiple extensions.
Tips
- Use predefined date ranges to quickly filter large datasets
- Select a specific job to reduce clutter
- Verify extension details before editing
- Use export or templates for reporting and stakeholder communication
- Regularly review extensions to monitor project delays
