Jobs List Overview & Management Guide
This page provides a comprehensive view of all jobs within Buildlogic. It allows users to track job details, financials, timelines, and performance metrics in one central location.
Navigation & Access
You can access this page via:
- Jobs → List
This is the primary workspace for managing all active, completed, and archived jobs.
Jobs Grid Overview
The Jobs List is displayed as a grid containing detailed information about each job.
| Column | Description |
|---|---|
| Number | Unique job reference number |
| Description | Job name or description |
| Start Date | Date the job commenced |
| Projected Completion Date | Expected finish date |
| Client | Client associated with the job |
| Contract Type | Type of contract (e.g. Lump Sum, Cost Plus) |
| Job Status | Current status of the job |
Additional financial and performance columns are also included such as OCV, Variations, ACV, Total Claimed, and GP%.

Financial Metrics Explained
- OCV – Original Contract Value
- Adjusted OCV – OCV including adjustments
- ACV – Adjusted Contract Value
- Variations – Approved variation amounts
- Total Claimed – Amount claimed to date
- Total Paid – Payments received
- Projected GP % – Expected gross profit margin %
Toolbar Actions
- Edit – Modify selected job
- Refresh – Reload job list
- Search – Filter jobs quickly
- Show Archived Jobs – Toggle visibility of archived jobs in the list
- Column picker – Use to show/hide columns
- Save button – Save column size settings or page size setting selection

Export Options
You can export the job list to multiple formats:
- DOCX
- RTF
- XLSX

These shortcuts allow fast access to detailed job management features without leaving the list view.

Pagination & Display
- Supports pagination (e.g. Page 1 of 1)
- Adjust page size (10, 20, 30, 50, 100 rows)
- Sorting available on multiple columns
- Size changes available on columns
Tips
- Use search to quickly locate jobs by number or description
- Monitor GP% regularly to identify profitability risks
- Click a column heading to sort
- Use export features for reporting and stakeholder updates
- Leverage shortcuts to minimise navigation time
- Use the save button to save your page size and column width settings
