Timesheet Entry Screen – Full Guide
The Timesheet Entry screen is used to record and manage employee work hours against jobs and cost codes.
It allows detailed tracking of time, allocation to trades, and integration with the accounting system.

Header Fields
These fields define the overall timesheet record.
- Date – The date the timesheet relates to.
- Hours – Total hours required for the selected period (system generated based on start/End time)
- Submitted? – Indicates whether the timesheet has been submitted (confirmed timesheets cannot be unsubmitted)
- Timesheet Number – Unique identifier for the timesheet
- Start Time – Time work commenced
- End Time – Time work finished
- Lunch (hrs) – Break time deducted from total hours
- Client Accounting System – Accounting system associated with the timesheet
- Submit - Use this button to submit the timesheet when complete

Toolbar Actions
- New – Add a new timesheet line
- Refresh – Reload timesheet data
- Export– Export timesheet data to:
- DOCX
- RTF
- XLSX
- Search - standard search through table info

Timesheet Grid – Field Definitions
Each row in the grid represents a timesheet entry linked to a job and cost code.
- Line Type – Type of entry (e.g. Normal, Overtime, RDO, etc)
- Job – Job the time is being allocated to
- Trade – Trade associated with the work performed
- Cost Code – Cost category for tracking expenses
- Reference Code – Additional classification or tracking code
- Hours – Number of hours worked on this line (must equal hours in above grid or will not be able to submit)
- Note – Additional comments or description of work performed

Tips
- Enter time daily to avoid missing details
- Use correct job and cost codes for accurate reporting
- Double-check hours before submitting (submitted times can be edited by unchecking the submitted check box, confirmed times cannot be edited)
- Add notes for unusual or non-standard work
