Task Approvals
New section:
We have split the approvals from the to-do list and created a separate approvals section to manage your subcontract, variation and purchase approval process.
This should allow users to more easily access and manage approvals across a range of jobs and transactions from the one screen, rather than having to navigate back and forth.
This will also give a user more visibility (if allowed) to see where other approvals are up to in the system, which may be useful for a manager to see what is still outstanding and how many approvals a user has waiting.
Purchases added via AI import tool or Contract claims via the subbie portal will be added into the approval portal automatically and assigned to the job owner.
How to Access:
Users can access the approvals section from the button at the top right hand side of the page, pictured below:

Users can also access the approvals section by navigating to the URL below:
https://app.buildlogic.com.au/Task/Approvals
Functional Security:
Functional security for approval process will remain the same,
We have added some additional functional settings relating to whether or not a user can see another users approval list,
The new functional security settings are listed under the 'core' function and they are:
Can action tasks for others:
This allows a user to access the approval list for other users as well, a user with this function enabled will be able to open lists of other approvers to see/action on behalf of others. This setting would be good for managers or if a range of people have the same approval ability you can open up the system so people can help where needed. A user without this function would only see their own name in the drop down menu:

Can approve selected approvals:
This is a work in progress setting, we will allow users to be able to select multiple transactions that are awaiting approval and approve them all in one go.
Approvals Section:
This is what a users typical approvals section will look like, the user can select a transaction on the left hand side of the page and on the right it will display all the details about the order, a user has control to make any necessary changes and then go ahead and approve the transaction when needed at the top of the screen.
Once and approval has been sent to another user it will appear in their list from the next screen refresh,
A user can also send to the accounting system direct from this screen if necessary

Confirm Timesheet - Charge Rates
We've made it easier for users to identify contacts with no charge rate set up when confirming timesheets -
This should allow the user processing times, to more easily identify, navigate to and correct problem entries,
We've made a couple of changes:
Hyperlinks:
For ease of access and confirmation we've added two additional hyperlinks per record, a user will be able to quickly identify the linked contact associated with the user card and also will be able to more quickly access the two screens by clicking on the name of the user/linked contact.
Warning:
We have added a warning section in each record that will outline and problems associated with that line, text will also be red if there is no charge rate allocated to a particular timesheet user.
ABN Check
We have added the ability to run an ABN lookup on a supplier directly from your transaction,
This should allow users to confirm the ABN for the company is correct efficiently
Access:
Users will note that there is a question mark icon next to the ABN for suppliers

Warning:
When clicking this question mark users will be presented with a message confirming the ABN details associated with that ABN (from ABN lookup) which will allow people to more easily identify problems. A standard message will be printed on screen, similar to below:
If you want to confirm the information directly from the ABR website, click the ABN Lookup hyperlink in the message.
